Gordon quiet after Hearts hearing
Hearts goalkeeper Craig Gordon
Craig Gordon remained tight-lipped after the hearing
Hearts goalkeeper Craig Gordon has remained tight-lipped after attending an internal disciplinary hearing.

Gordon appeared at a media conference alongside former captain Steven Pressley in October, when the latter said there was "dressing-room unrest".

The Scotland goalkeeper, 23, would not comment as he left the hearing at Tynecastle on Tuesday.

Players' union chief Fraser Wishart said he expected Gordon to play against Dundee United at the weekend.

Gordon, 23, who led the side in the 1-0 defeat by Aberdeen on Saturday, said beforehand that he was not worried about the hearing nor about losing his place.

Speaking after the hearing, Wishart said: "Craig is captain of Hearts Football Club and will be playing, I am sure, at the weekend.

"What was discussed today is absolutely confidential. Comparing Steven Pressley with Paul Hartley or Craig Gordon is wrong.

"I cannot go into the situation, it was individual hearings at every opportunity."

Gordon and Paul Hartley flanked Pressley, who has since left the club, when the then skipper read out a statement revealing dressing-room unrest.

Hartley refused to comment when he attended a disciplinary meeting at Tynecastle last week.

The 30-year-old had been vice captain while Pressley was at the club, but was overlooked by head coach Valdas Ivanauskas, who gave the armband to Gordon.

Ivanauskas said Hartley had a future at Hearts and that he was confident he would stay at the club.

However, Hartley was relegated to the bench for the Aberdeen game.
