Hearts signed striker Ludek Straceny and defender Martin Petras minutes before the transfer deadline to take their January total to eleven buys. Czech international Straceny and Slovakian Petras have both agreed loan deals until the end of the season.
Earlier on Tuesday, Juho Makela, Jose Goncalves, Bruno Aguiar, Rais M'Bohli and Mirsad Beslija all signed up.
Beslija joins from Racing Genk for a club record fee of �850,000, while Makela moves from HJK Helsinki.
Portuguese left-back Goncalves, from FC Thun in Switzerland, Benfica midfielder Aguiar and French keeper M'Bohli all did well in trials at Tynecastle.
The 22-year-old Makela scored 33 goals in 41 games as HJK finished second in the Finnish league last season and has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract.

Beslija, 26, joins on a three-and-a-half-year deal, while Goncalves, 21, and Aguiar, 24, have signed for FBK Kaunas, also owned by Hearts majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov, and join Hearts on loan.
Straceny, 28, who has been capped twice by the Czech Republic joins from Viktoria Zi, while Petras, 26, with 11 caps, was with Sparta Prague.
Both men have also officially signed for FBK Kaunas and been loaned on to Edinburgh.
M'Bohli is just 19 and has been released by Marseille.
"He's one for the future and not likely to put any immediate pressure on Craig Gordon and Steve Banks yet," assistant coach John McGlynn told BBC Scotland.
The seven who signed on Tuesday will join fellow newcomers Lee Johnson, Chris Hackett, Neil McCann and Nerijus Barasa in the squad.
And head coach Graham Rix has applauded majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov for splashing out.
He siad: "You can see we have real quality here and the boys want to play for us, there is no doubt about that.
"Mr Romanov deserves a pat on the back, he has stuck his neck out.
"We want to continue what we are doing this season and the fact they are all on long-term deals emphasises our ambition.
"To get this quality, it shows where the club is moving and the ambition of the club.
"Vladimir has been 100% supportive of me and deserves a big pat on the back.
"He deserves credit because, although he does get criticism, he has put his money where his mouth is."
Meanwhile, former Hibs manager Jim Duffy has agreed to join the coaching staff at Tynecastle.
Duffy, who was sacked by Dundee in the summer, worked with Rix at Chelsea and Portsmouth.
