Hartlepool manager Danny Wilson has said he is disappointed at the three-match ban handed to goalkeeper Arran Lee-Barrett.
The 24-year-old was charged with violent conduct after being adjudged to have struck Fleetwood's Lee Hunt with his arm in Pools' 3-2 win on Saturday.
Wilson told BBC Tees: "It has annoyed me greatly, I'm very miffed.
"The referee did not see the incident. We've been tried by television and that's difficult to take."
Referee Clive Oliver missed the incident at the time but took action after reviewing video evidence.
Lee-Barrett will miss the upcoming League One games against Yeovil, Hereford and Southend.
"If anything, the Fleetwood striker should have been sent off," said Wilson.
"They should analyse his strike on Arran, because he elbowed him straight in the mouth.
"But nothing will happen with that, they've concentrated on Arran, which disappoints me greatly," he added.
