Coventry City striker Kevin Kyle has rejoined League One side Hartlepool United for a second loan spell.
The Scotland international, 27, will remain at Victoria Park until the end of the year, making him available for for the visit of Crewe on 28 December.
Discussions are continuing between the two clubs about Kyle's availability for Pools' FA Cup replay against Brighton and subsequent ties.
His previous spell at the club yielded three goals in seven starts.
The Stranraer-born striker began his career with Sunderland, making 107 appearances and scoring 19 goals in six seasons on Wearside.
He then joined the Sky Blues from Sunderland in August 2006 for �600,000 but has struggled to settle at the midlands club.
