Hartlepool United boss Danny Wilson has asked for patience with regard to new signings during the transfer window. Wilson made Leeds and former England winger Alan Thompson his first signing of the month on Tuesday.
He told BBC Tees: "We've got players who are aware of our interest in them. It's a matter of waiting.
"If we get people in it'll be a big lift for everybody and if we don't bring anybody in we've still got a squad that's good enough to compete."
