Hartlepool midfielder Willie Boland is nearing a return to first team action after two months on the sidelines with a hamstring injury. Boland has not played since the start of the year but physio James Hancock told the club website: "The location made the healing process a slower.
"But he's doing very well and we hope he's back in action very soon."
And striker Joel Porter is also on the mend after knee surgery and has returned to training.
