Hartlepool striker James Brown has signed a new contract at The Victoria Park club. Brown, 19, missed most of last season with a cruciate ligament injury but recovered in time to play some part in the Pools' ill-fated relegation battle.
The 19-year-old has made four first-team appearances for the club, netting one goal in the process.
The striker originally rose to prominence in the Pools' youth team, hitting five goals in just two games.
