Hamilton have signed striker Tom Elliott on a free transfer from Leeds United until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old has agreed to move to New Douglas Park after being released by the Championship side.

In 2007, Elliott became the first Leeds player to make his debut while still at school, but made just four appearances for the Elland Road club.

He has had loan spells with Macclesfield, Bury and Rotherham, making 34 first-team appearances.
