Curier scored 26 goals in 46 outings with First Division side Dundee
Hamilton Accies hope to conclude a deal with Dundee in the next 24 hours to retain top scorer Mickael Antoine-Curier until the end of the season.
Curier's loan from Dundee expires after next week's match against St Mirren.
But Hamilton manager Billy Reid has been impressed by the 26-year-old Frenchman, who has scored five goals in 12 games this season.
Curier arrived at New Douglas Park in September having scored 26 goals in 46 outings with the Dens Park side.
Meanwhile, left-back Matty Sheridan, who turned 19 this week, was released by Hamilton at the weekend.
Sheridan, who came through the youth ranks at New Douglas Park, had been denied a breakthrough into the first-team by the form of Canada international Richie Hastings.
