Welsh has made just one competitive appearance for Accies

Hamilton Accies left-back Kevin Welsh has joined Second Division Alloa Athletic on loan until 13 December.

The 25-year-old signed from amateur club Harestanes in the summer, and made his debut in Accies' 4-1 defeat by Rangers at Ibrox.

Meanwhile, captain Alex Neil's recovery is ahead of schedule and he could return to action in November instead of the previous estimate of late December.

Neil has had a hip operation and has not played since the end of May.
