Much-lauded teenage midfielder James McCarthy has ended speculation about his future by signing a contract extension with Hamilton Accies.
The promoted outfit have also agreed new deals with James McArthur, Brian Easton, Tony Stevenson, David Elebert and David Graham.
McCarthy has turned down a move to Liverpool and been linked with Chelsea.
But the 17-year-old has committed himself to Accies' campaign in the Scottish Premier League.
McCarthy, fellow midfielder McArthur, who has also attracted interest from bigger clubs, and Easton have re-signed until 2011 and fellow defender Stevenson to 2010.
Striker Graham has been given a new two-year contract, while defender Elebert has been granted what Accies' website describes as "a further extension".
McCarthy, who rejected an approach from Rafael Benitez last summer, might not be heading for Anfield just yet, but Liverpool will visit New Douglas Park for a friendly on Wednesday 20 August.
