Halifax Town's future appears to be secure after the Conference club said a takeover is close to completion. A consortium of businessmen has reached agreement to pay off debts, which are believed to be around �250,000, and then invest in the club.
Fans have also pledged to contribute towards paying off the club's CVA and to help meet running costs for March.
The proposed new owners want to help boss Chris Wilder's team-building plans and assist with ground redeveolopment.
