Halifax swooped to beat the deadline with the signing of veteran midfielder Chris Billy from Carlisle. The Shaymen signed Billy, 34, on an 18-month deal after allowing Martin Foster to join Oxford on loan for the rest of the season.
Halifax have also signed Sheffield United defender Ryan Cresswell, 19, on a month's loan.
The Shaymen have also given 21-year-old midfielder Nick Gray a contract until the end of the season.
