Halifax have lodged a complaint with the Football Association over allegations of racial abuse against their midfielder Tyrone Thompson. He claimed he was abused three times by a Northwich player in Saturday's game, and complained to the referee.
"We do not condone any abuse at all of our players and expect other clubs to do likewise," Halifax general manager Angie Firth told her club's website.
"We are holding an investigation," Vics boss Steve Burr told BBC Sport.
"I have spoken to the player (allegedly involved)."
