Crewe's Adam Yates has joined Halifax on loan for the rest of the season. The full-back impressed Halifax boss Chris Wilder after scoring a goal in a recent trial match for the Nationwide Conference side.
Yates, who is out of contract at Crewe next summer, has yet to make a first team appearance for Dario Gradi's side.
The 20-year-old has been behind David Wright and Chris McCready in the pecking order at Gresty Road.
