Buckley has taken Grimsby to Wembley on three occasions
Grimsby Town manager Alan Buckley has told his players that they have to play for their Wembley places.
The Mariners play MK Dons in the final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at the end of the month.
Buckley told BBC Radio Humberside: "No player has got a divine right to play at Wembley.
"I'll be watching them very closely in games and at training and if they're in the team they've got to make sure they stay in it."
We've got a fantastic run of results going and I've stressed to the players of late that we've just got to keep going

Buckley is keen to make sure his team maintains their good form in League Two after a poor start to the season. They were 4-1 winners over Barnet at Blundell Park on Tuesday night and are now closing in on the play-off places.
However, the Town boss has played down his sides' chances.
"I've not viewed a play off-push. We've got a fantastic run of results going and I've stressed to the players of late that we've just got to keep going, and going and going.
"If that brings us something nice at the end - then we're delighted."
