Grimsby Town boss Alan Buckley has brought defender Matt Bloomer back to Blundell Park to help the Mariners' fight against relegation. Bloomer has agreed a deal until the end of the season after leaving Cambridge United by mutual consent.
The move means a return to his hometown club for the 28-year-old, who started his career with the Mariners.
Bloomer then had spells with Hull City and Lincoln City before joining Cambridge last summer.
