Greg Fleming has become a first-team regular this season |
Gretna goalkeeper Greg Fleming has agreed a two-year extension with the Scottish Premier League club and been given an international call-up. The 21-year-old has been drafted into the Scotland Under-21 squad for Tuesday's friendly against the Netherlands at Rosada Stadium.
"Getting the chance to play every week in the SPL is fantastic," he said.
"It's great to be involved in the International set-up and it's nice to get recognition for my performances."
Fleming has taken his chance after Gretna were thwarted in their attempts to sign a more experienced goalkeeper before the closer of the transfer window.

Now he has agreed a new contract that ties him to Raydale Park until June 2009.
"I'm pleased with how things are going at the moment and I'm very happy at the club," Fleming told his club website.
"We could obviously be in a better position, but the signs have been good and I'm sure we're not far away from getting the results we deserve."
Director of football Mick Wadsworth added: "It coincided well with our view of Greg and his importance to our club and the SFA's view of Greg and his importance to the country.

"It's been a tough start to the season for Greg and he's had more work to do than most, so it's richly deserved.
