The much-travelled 24-year-old was impressive for Town last season and the club took up its option of an extra year on his contract last month.

But he left earlier in the week for personal reasons and has been re-united with former Farnborough manager Frank Gray at the Recreation Ground.

Meanwhile, defender Cameron Mawer and midfielder Michael Kightly, also 20, have extended their deals with Grays.
