Daish insists his side will be able to cope with another extra game |
Ebbsfleet United boss Liam Daish has insisted his side can produce an even better display against Burton Albion in their FA Trophy quarter-final replay. Daish was pleased with the Fleet's performance in their goalless draw with the Brewers at the Pirelli.
But he believes a few improvements, combined with home advantage can help the Fleet to victory on Tuesday night.
"We could keep the ball a little bit better and the pitch will be better down at Stonebridge Road," said Daish.
"But saying that it is going to be good for them (Burton) as well so it all makes for a good tie.
"We've got home advantage now and we just want to make that count."
He dismissed suggestions that his side would be tired because of the extra fixture.
Daish added: "It's another game but it's a big game, it's not a minor game, so I'm sure the players will be up for it."
