Ebbsfleet midfielder Stacy Long was disappointed as they failed to reach the FA Cup first round proper for the third consecutive year. A 3-1 defeat by Exeter left the Fleet as one of only two Blue Square Premier teams not to make it into the draw.
"When you're 1-0 up and pushing on in the second half, you think it's all going well," Long told BBC Radio Kent.
"But they hit back with a goal, and then they had momentum and had the crowd behind them."
