Daish was appointed as Fleet boss in February 2005 |
Gravesend & Northfleet boss Liam Daish has rejected the chance to talk to managerless Conference rivals Rushden & Diamonds, reports BBC Radio Kent. Fleet chairman Jason Botley is determined to hold on to his manager.
"This is a positive reflection of Liam's performance - I am not surprised other clubs are taking an interest in him," Botley told the club website.
"However we have no wish to see Liam leave and I know Liam feels the same way. This is the end of the matter."
Daish added: "I just wanted to speak to Jason and make sure we were going the right way.
"I had to ask questions but after that, I was quite settled in my decision.
"Hopefully I'll be able to secure the services of players in the near future, so they will know where their futures lie - and we can go from there."
