Gravesend & Northfleet boss Andy Ford has resigned as manager of the Conference club. Captain Steve McKimm and experienced defender Paul McCarthy will take temporary charge of team affairs.
Chairman Brian Kilcullen said: "Andy was with the club for a long time and will be a very hard man to replace.
"The appointment of his successor will be a crucial decision in shaping how the club progresses from here and is not a decision we will rush into."
"In the meantime, we are more than happy to let Steve and Paul take charge of team matters. They have the necessary experience and leadership qualities."
