Gillingham midfielder Adam Miller will to have will have more competition for his place in the starting 11, according to manager Mark Stimson.
Miller, 26, was ever-present when fit last season, but he has been on the bench for the last couple of games.
With the capture of Charlie Daniels and Curtis Weston, Stimson told BBC Radio Kent it will be tough for Miller to break into the side.
"Adam's just got to get on with it and be a professional," said Stimson.
"If he gets another opportunity I'm sure he'll grab it. Adam can play in a few other positions as well.
"When he first came here he played behind the front man and he has also played in the centre of the pitch, so there's other opportunities."
