Gillingham goalkeeper Kelvin Jack does not need an operation despite breaking his leg during a training session while on trial at Barnsley on Friday. The 31-year-old joined the Championship club who needed an emergency goalkeeper for their FA Cup fifth round tie at Liverpool on Saturday.
"It is a spiral fracture so he didn't have to have an operation, but he is in plaster," said Gills boss Mark Stimson.
"We wish him all the best and hopefully he has a speedy recovery."
