Gillingham midfielder Mark Bentley has signed a new two-year deal with the Priestfield Stadium until 2010. The 29-year-old has been with the Gills since signing from Southend last summer on a free transfer.
Chairman Paul Scally told the club's official website: "Mark is a key performer for Gillingham and gives his all every game.
"He is a popular member of the playing squad and will continue to give sterling service to the club."
