Gillingham's new coach Iffy Onuora says his experience working with BBC Radio Kent could prove valuable next season. He was a matchday summariser last year and saw things from a different perspective to what manager Ronnie Jepson saw down at pitchside.
Onuora told BBC Radio Kent: "It's given me an insight into the game and hopefully that'll be of benefit and an outside opinion of how I saw things.
"It was easier to see things from a detached point of view."
Onuora added: "I know how it is when you're in the thick of it and it can be a difficult job at times. But I think that added little knowledge is hopefully something I can bring to the staff here."
