Gillingham chairman Paul Scally has confirmed that Huddersfield want to talk to Gills boss Ronnie Jepson about their managerial vacancy. Scally has told BBC Radio Kent that the first move has already taken place and he is not surprised.
"Huddersfield called yesterday to ask if their chairman could talk to me. And of course I said yes," said Scally.
"Ronnie was always going to be linked because he's a bit of a legend after his time as a player there."
Jepson played for three seasons for Huddersfield in the 90s and has impressed in his first managerial job at Gillingham, despite limited resources.
