Royce spent time on loan with the Gills last term |
Gillingham have signed goalkeeper Simon Royce on a one-year deal. Royce, who played three games for the Gills during a loan spell at Priestfield last season, joins from Championship side QPR.
The 35-year-old made 20 appearances for Rangers last season and in his career he has played just shy of 300 games.
Boss Ronnie Jepson told the club website: "I'm delighted. Simon is a highly experienced keeper and he did a good job on loan for us."
Royce's previous clubs include Southend United and Leicester City, along with loan spells at Manchester City, Brighton and Luton.
