Flynn looks set to be leaving Gillingham |
Gillingham captain Michael Flynn looks set to be leaving the Gills after rejecting what the club say is their final offer. Chairman Paul Scally has told BBC Radio Kent that the Welsh midfielder will not be given an improved contract.
Flynn, who was top-scorer last season, turned down the club's initial offer.
The 26-year-old joined the Gills when he became former boss Stan Ternent's first signing when he joined on a free transfer from Wigan in February 2005.
Flynn has made 97 league appearances for the Priestfield side.
