| Gillingham are pushing ahead with plans to build a new stadium, despite being in debt to the tune of 10.3m. Gills chairman Paul Scally admitted that although a site had yet to be chosen the location would be announced within the next year. "There is light at the end of the tunnel despite the fact it's been an extremely difficult 18 months to two years," Scally said. "The bank have given us their full support and the future is bright."
