Gillingham manager Ronnie Jepson has handed a three-year professional contract to defender Sean Clohessy. The 19-year-old came up through the Gills' youth ranks, made his debut in November and has made a total of 20 appearances for the first team.
"He is still young with a few rough edges, but I've seen enough potential in him," Jepson told the club website.
The Gills boss will announce which other players have been offered new contracts by Tuesday afternoon.
