Gillingham goalkeeper Jason Brown was "over the moon" after hearing of his first senior call-up for Wales. "My mum's really happy, and my wife's really happy. Hopefully I can stay in the squad," he told BBC Radio Kent.
"There was a time here when I was leaving. The deal was done and dusted, but the club couldn't let me go because they didn't have another fit keeper.
"Now I'm really enjoying my football, I really do enjoy coming into work and I haven't had that for quite a while."
Southwark-born Brown, now 23, made his international debut for Wales Under-21s back in September 2002.
