Crichton will bring vast experience to Gillingham |
Gillingham boss Neale Cooper has strengthened his staff with the signing of much-travelled keeper Paul Crichton. Crichton, 36, has agreed a two-year deal as a player and goalkeeping coach at the Priestfield Stadium.
He has played almost 500 games in a near 20-year career, having been on the books of 16 different clubs.
Crichton enjoyed lengthy spells at Doncaster, Grimsby and Burnley, and played in the Conference last season for York, Leigh RMI and Accrington.
He had been close to joining Cambridge United in the summer.
