Fulham captain Danny Murphy has signed a contract extension that is set to keep him with the Cottagers until 2011.
The 32-year-old midfielder has put pen to paper for an additional year.
He has become a key member of boss Roy Hodgson's side and helped the Premier League club reach the qualifying stages of this season's Europa League.
Murphy, who has nine England caps, joined Fulham from Tottenham in 2007 and is one of the Craven Cottage outfit's most consistent performers.
Murphy, who began his career at Crewe, helped the Cottagers achieve their highest top-flight finish last season, with seventh place.
He was injured in Sunday's 2-0 home defeat by Chelsea and is a doubt for the second leg of the Europa League match against Amkar Perm in Russia on Thursday, which Fulham go into with a 3-1 lead.
