John spent spells on loan at Watford and Leicetser

Fulham have offloaded striker Collins John on a free transfer to Dutch side NEC Nijmegen, subject to a medical.

The 22-year-old was signed from FC Twente in January 2004 and finished as the club's top scorer with 11 goals at the end of the 2005/2006 campaign.

But the former Netherlands Under-21 forward has since struggled for first-team football at Craven Cottage.

He spent spells on loan at Leicester and Watford last season, while also being held back by injuries.
