Fulham have completed the signing of West Ham defender Paul Konchesky for a fee which could rise to �3.25m. The England international left-back has joined the west London club on a four-year deal.
Boss Lawrie Sanchez told their website: "At 26, Paul's best footballing years will be spent at Craven Cottage.
"His calibre as a defender has been recognised on the international stage with England and he brings a wealth of Premiership experience to our side."
The Barking-born player was a West Ham Academy trainee before leaving to join Charlton. He went on to make 169 appearances for the London club.
In 2005, West Ham bought the player back in a deal worth �1.5m and he made a further 62 appearances for the side.

After a successful first season, the full-back found opportunities hard to come by as West Ham battled against relegation.
Konchesky said: "When I knew that Fulham were interested in me I was really pleased.
"I was really impressed with what he (Lawrie Sanchez) had to say; so it wasn't a difficult decision to make the switch across London."
The former Hammer has two England caps, making his debut against Australia in 2003.
