Goma had been a club record signing when he joined in 2001 |
Fulham have released six players, including France defender Alain Goma. The other players told they have no future at Craven Cottage are Facundo Sava, Robert Watkins, Neale McDermott, Adam Green and Richard de Villiers.
Fulham had been keen to agree a new deal with Goma, 33, but talks reached a stalemate and the club eventually decided to let him go.
Goma had been a club record signing when he moved to London from Newcastle for 4m in 2001.
"The club would like to thank all the players for their services and contributions and wishes them all the best for the future," said Fulham in a statement.
Manager Chris Coleman has already spent 2.5m on Wigan midfielder Jimmy Bullard and is hopeful of bringing in at least two more faces, with a 6m budget.
On-loan left-back Wayne Bridge is Coleman's priority, although Chelsea's price tag of 5m may prove too much.
