Papa Bouba Diop is sent off

West Brom defender Neil Clement has admitted a charge of violent conduct brought by the Football Association.

Clement was sent off during Saturday's stormy 1-1 draw against Fulham and will now have a disciplinary commission hearing on 28 September.

Fulham's Andrew Cole, who was also dismissed during the match, faces a similar charge.

Clement can expect a three-game suspension on top of the one-game ban he got for his red card.

Cole could end up with a six-game ban, because he has to answer a violent conduct charge and also explain comments he made after the match about referee Mike Dean.

Fulham have also been charged with not ensuring their players conducted themselves properly, for which they could be fined �250,000.

And the Craven Cottage club have been accused of failing to ensure that Papa Bouba Diop vacated the field of play and technical area following his sending-off for violent conduct.

The Senegal international watched the rest of the match from behind the dug-out.

Both Fulham and Cole have 14 days to respond and their cases will be heard on Wednesday 6 October.

It is not the first time Fulham have been involved in mass brawl since returning to the Premiership.
