Saha is desperate to join Man Utd |
Manchester United are reported to be ready to increase their bid for Fulham striker Louis Saha to 10m. Fulham have accused United of trying to unsettle Saha and insisted that they will not sell.
But the Frenchman reportedly demanded a transfer at a meeting with Fulham officials on Tuesday, asking why an 8m bid from United had been rejected.
And United could pursuade Fulham to do business with an offer which exceeds their valuation of the 25-year-old.
Saha said on Wednesday that he was "completely gutted" and "appalled" over Fulham's refusal to discuss a transfer.
And he told French sports daily L'Equipe on Friday that he was ready for another confrontation in order to get his way.
"I won't do just anything, out of respect for my team-mates whom I adore," he said.
"But everything I can do to move, I will. If I have to have a clash, I will."
Saha has scored 14 goals this season as Fulham have climbed to fifth place in the Premiership.
He has been linked with a move to United since Fulham's 3-1 victory at Old Trafford in October.
