Winter has left Stark's Park to join Forfar Athletic

Forfar Athletic have signed midfielder Craig Winter from Raith Rovers.

The 31-year-old former Brechin City and Dumbarton man becomes new manager Dick Campbell's first signing. Winter made 29 appearances for Raith last season.

"Craig is a smashing lad, a winner and the type of player I like," said the Forfar boss.

Meanwhile, the Third Division club have also announced that Ian Campbell, Dick's brother, has joined the backroom staff as assistant manager.
