Forest Green Rovers want to secure the services of manager Jim Harvey on a long-term contract. Rovers are set to offer Harvey, who has been linked with the vacancy at Conference rivals Aldershot, a new six-year deal at the New Lawn.
Harvey has transformed the Gloucestershire club since taking charge in September and is close to securing their Conference safety.
The former Morecambe boss is currently under contract until next summer.
