 Austin will take charge of team affairs at Cherrywood Road |
Director of football Dean Austin has taken over managerial responsibilities at Farnborough Town. Austin, who only arrived at the club last month, replaces Vic Searle, whose resignation was "reluctantly" accepted by chairman Tony Theo.
Gerry Murphy, who recently moved to Cherrywood Road from Fulham, will continue as first team coach.
Searle joined Boro as chairman in March 2003, and replaced Tommy Taylor as manager in October.
