Falkirk striker Mark Stewart will see a specialist on Monday about the eye injury he sustained in the 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock.

The 20-year-old was substituted 11 minutes into the match at Rugby Park.

"He was seen by a specialist at an Ayr hospital and released," said a club spokesman. "He is now resting at home and will see another specialist.

"Mark is now comfortable and further indications are that the eye injury may not be as bad as first seemed."

Stewart has made 25 appearances for John Hughes' side this season, scoring three times.
