Hughes was disappointed by his side's slack defending
Falkirk manager John Hughes lamented his side's poor defending after seeing them concede three sloppy goals in the 3-2 SPL defeat to Hibs at Easter Road.
"It was self-explanatory, you can't defend the way we did and try and take something from the match," Hughes said.
"That's not having a go at the back four, that's having a go at everyone from the front to the back.
"We had some good passages of play but I expect more from my team and we need to make ourselves harder to beat."
Colin Nish opening the scoring for Hibs after just 25 seconds before doubling his tally in the 25th minute.
The Bairns' Michael Higdon then grabbed a brace either side of a Paul Hanlon goal for the hosts.
"You give yourself a mountain to climb but all credit to the boys because they gave it a go.
"The match was enjoyable and end to end," Hughes said.
