Hughes upbeat despite Bairns draw

Falkirk manager John Hughes
Hughes said he wanted two or three recruits for next season

Falkirk manager John Hughes said his side paid for profligacy in front of goal in the goalless draw with Gretna.

"We just didn't show enough to get that goal, although it wasn't for the lack of trying," he told BBC Sport.

"It looked an end-of-the-season performance, which I can understand. The higher we finish in the league, then the more money I will get.

"I want to bring two or three new faces to the club. Most of the boys at the club deserve to be here."
