 Latapy will play on at Falkirk for another season |
Falkirk veteran Russell Latapy is among three players to agree new one-year contracts with the Scottish Premier League club. Skipper Jack Ross, 30, and 27-year-old defender Kenny Milne have also signed on for another 12 months at Westfield.
Bairns boss John Hughes said: "We are delighted to have secured the services of three of our most experienced players for next season's campaign"
Latapy, who turns 39 in August, is also the assistant first-team coach.
Latapy, the former Trinidad and Tobago midfielder was expected to hang up his boots at the end of this season.
The 38-year old former Porto, Hibernian and Rangers player joined Falkirk four years ago.
Falkirk clinched seventh place in the SPL with a 2-0 win over Dundee United on Saturday.
