Gow has been in fine form for Falkirk this season |
Falkirk striker Alan Gow has said that he will wait until the summer before deciding his next move. The 24-year-old Gow has been in great form for the club this season but has only six months remaining on his current contract.
"I'm delighted to be here playing for Falkirk in the Premier League every week," he said.
"Of course it's flattering if other clubs are interested in me, but I'm a Falkirk player until the summer."
Gow began the new year by scoring a hat-trick in the 5-1 victory over Dundee United and has courted interest from Hibernian and Wolves.
"I'll continue to give everything for the club," Gow added.
"It's a big decision I'm going to have to make in the summer but that's a
while away yet."
With top scorer Anthony Stokes now back at Arsenal, Gow has been backed to fill the void left by the Irishman.
"We've never been a one-man team. Russell Latapy is a genius for us
at times but we're a team first and foremost," Gow said.
"Obviously 'Stokesy' has done brilliantly for us and he's a big loss because
he's scored 16 goals this season, but we lost Darryl Duffy last season and we coped with that and have grown stronger."
Falkirk manager John Hughes had also tipped Gow for a Scotland call up following a series of impressive displays.
Meanwhile, Hughes has confimed that he is still talking with Arsenal and has not given up hope that Stokes may return to Falkirk.
