Falkirk are in talks with Dutch side Feyenoord about a year-long loan deal for 21-year-old defender Glenn Loovens. "People will be surprised that we are in the market for players of this quality," Bairns manager John Hughes told the Daily Record.
"I had been hoping to keep this quiet until it was in the bag but hopefully we may get the answer we're looking for in the next 24 hours."
Loovens is an U21 international but was not a regular in Rotterdam last season.
