Exeter captain Taylor breaks foot

Matt Taylor
Taylor needed pain-killers at half time in order to play on against Bradford

Exeter captain Matt Taylor has been ruled out for much of the rest of the season after suffering a broken foot during the 1-0 win against Bradford.

Taylor played on through the pain barrier after taking a knock during the first half of the key League Two match at St James' Park on Saturday.

But the defender was left needing crutches after the game.

It is not yet known how long Taylor will be out for but it is likely to be at least six weeks.
